Headed To Barclays? Stop At St. Gambrinus Beer Shoppe For A Local Pint First

The path to Barclays is paved with eating and drinking establishments of all kinds. There’s your old-school dive bar, there’s your artisanal cocktail spot, there’s your standard sports tavern.

And then there’s St. Gambrinus Beer Shoppe.

Part bar, part beer shop, this Atlantic Avenue establishment is a tribute to all things beer. Craft beer, to be clear, and much of it from local breweries. The wooden bar is lined with sixteen rotating taps for those looking to stay for a pint, and the side wall stacked with bottles for those looking to take it to go. The fellow behind the bar is friendly, offering guidance on your beer selection, should you be looking for such. (Not quite the patron saint of brewers for which St. Gambrinus is named, but pretty close.)

The takeaway? The next time you are Barclays-bound — or just have a hankering for a really good local IPA — head over to St. Gambrinus Beer Shoppe. We’ll see you there.
